Hi all!
Right, I've just installed WinXP Home and firstly, I've got to say that I should've done a long time ago, it is great and for all my other hardware, installation was as easy as 'Plug it in and go'. However, when it came to installing my joystick, I ran into problems!
Now, the Cyborg 3D USB comes with an installtion CD which, as usual, I put in, ran setup and plugged in the joystick when setup told me to. When I plugged in the joystick, WinXP automatically installed it as a 'USB Human Interface Device' and setup just stopped at the screen saying it was looking. After about 20minutes, it had still not found the joystick so I closed it. I looked in the 'Game Controllers' window in control panel but it was empty. I tried to install it via the windows installation but it would always tell me that a 10 button, 3 axis flight stick with throttle could not be found.
I'm out of ideas now, I tried downloading a new driver from the Saitek website but the same happened. Any ideas of what's going on??
PS. Thanks for the advice on XP Home or XP Pro, I'm glad I ugraded!
